About the School.
Founded in 1951, Landscape architecture at Beijing Forestry University was the start of modern landscape architectural education in the country, offering China’s first bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and postdoc programs in landscape architecture. It has been playing a leading role in Chinese landscape architecture education and research by gathering the best teaching and research teams for landscape architecture, including three members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a large group of top landscape architectural scholars. It has established comprehensive undergraduate and graduate curriculums, diversified and efficient teaching and research with practice platforms, and extensive international exchanges and collaboration networks.BFU’s landscape architecture ranked No.1 in the Discipline Evaluation by the Ministry of Education in 2012 and 2016. This testify to the leading position of BFU’s landscape architecture in China.
The School of Landscape Architecture at BFU has been 66 years old. Thanks to the tireless efforts of several generations, the school has achieved a lot in the infrastructure, faculty, discipline construction and teaching quality.
As a research-oriented school aiming at cultivating expertise in Landscape Architecture, Tourism Management, Ornamental Horticulture and Urban Planning, We will continue to strive for the development of China's Landscape Architecture education to create better conditions and the environment.

About Beijing Forestry Universtiy
Founded in 1952, Beijing Forestry University (BFU) is a famous higher education institution for forestry and ecological environment in China. As of the end of 2017, Beijing Forestry University has a total of 1193 full-time teachers including 294 professors and 527 associate professors and three members of Chinese Academy of Engineering. 28734 students enrolled in the school, including 13240 undergraduates, 5138 full-time graduate students, 1142 part-time graduate students, and 9214 continuing education students. It has 15 academic schools such as forestry, soil and water conservation, environmental science and engineering, nature reserves, biological science and technology, all of which focus on China’s land security and sustainable ecological environment.
